Representative, Boys and Girls, Panel of 6 – Team of 4 to run

Under 12 Over 10 and Under 14 Over 12

Age

  • Spikes are allowed.
  • At the National Festival, depending on the number of participants, it's at the discretion of the Activities Director to run semi-finals; otherwise, the event will be a straight final.

Under 12 Over 10 Mixed Distance Relays Boys and Girls (Distances - 400 & 600 metres)

Note: The County Panel should be made up of the first 3 boys and first 3 girls duly qualified in order of finish at the County Finals competition in the 400 metres event and the 600 metres Event.

1. Separate competition for Boys and Girls

2. The race will be run over a Cross Country course in the following order –

1st Runner – 600 metres 2nd Runner – 400 metres

3rd Runner – 600 metres 4th Runner – 400 metres

3. A Runner may only run in one leg of the race

4. The number of Heats will be determined by the number of entries with a selected number of teams from each heat to qualify for the Final.

Under 14 Over 12 Mixed Distance Relays Boys and Girls (Distances - 600 & 800 metres)

This is a County Representative Event. There are no Regional or Provincial Finals in this event.

  1. Each team consists of 6 members, with 4 participating in the race.
  2. Teams must include both boys and girls.
  3. Relay distances and order are determined by the event organizers.
  4. Standard relay rules apply, including baton exchanges within designated zones.
  5. All participants must adhere to the event's code of conduct and safety guidelines.
