Our commitment
Cairn Community Games wants people to be able to find information, navigate the website, complete forms and use its services regardless of ability, technology or method of interaction.
Accessibility is considered during content creation, design, development, testing and maintenance.
Current accessibility status
All public pages, templates, content, navigation, forms and reusable interface components that Cairn Community Games directly controls and that were included in the completed accessibility assessment have been assessed and remediated against WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
The Cairn-controlled interface and content covered by the assessment meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
We continue to monitor these areas as content, browser behaviour and website components change.
Measures and ongoing maintenance
Cairn Community Games supports accessibility by:
- Assigning responsibility for website accessibility.
- Including accessibility checks in content, design and development work.
- Testing representative pages, templates and important user journeys.
- Using keyboard, screen-reader, manual and automated testing methods.
- Reviewing reusable components and site-wide patterns.
- Monitoring externally supplied components when they change.
- Providing a direct way for visitors to report accessibility barriers.
Editors and maintainers use an accessibility maintenance checklist when reviewing new and updated content, forms, documents, media and third-party components.
Third-party checkout under review
The complaint-payment process on the Complaints Form page uses an embedded ticketing and checkout service supplied by Future Ticketing. Its underlying source code and hosted payment stages are controlled by that provider and are separate from the Cairn-controlled interface and content described above.
The third-party checkout is undergoing further accessibility review. Remaining provider-level issues affect parts of:
- Keyboard operation and focus management.
- Status, error and time-limit announcements.
- Required-field instructions and validation.
- Order-summary structure and relationships.
Cairn Community Games has addressed the aspects that can be safely corrected within the website. The remaining source-level issues require remediation by the provider or replacement with a compliant service.
This statement will be updated as soon as the remaining third-party issues have been resolved and the complete checkout process has been re-tested and cleared.
If this service prevents you from completing a complaint payment, please contact us and explain the assistance you require.
