Notes

  • At National Festival, competitors will have three throws at the event, following the order of county numbers.
  • After each throw, the competitor goes to the back of the line to maintain the sequence.
  • The top eight competitors will then proceed to the next round where they will have three further throws.
  • Their distances from the first round are carried forward to this final stage.

Additional Notes

  • 2 Boys and 2 Girls qualify from County to National; there are no Regionals in this event.
  1. International Athletics Federation rules apply, except where amended by Community Games.
  2. Discus weight is 1kg.
  3. Equipment will be provided by Community Games and must be used by all competitors.
