- Distance: 5km
- Counties can enter up to 4 individuals; if 3 or 4 compete, it constitutes a team.
- Selection of the representative team is at the discretion of the County.
- All panel members present at the National Festival should participate.
Additional Notes
This is a County Representative Event. There are no Regional or Provincial Finals in this event.
- At the National Festival, the 5K (boys & girls) is regarded as a team event with 3 of the 4 runners to score per county. The total score per county will determine the result.
- The first four boys and first four girls will be awarded individual medals.
- The event can be run on any surface.
