Cairn Community Games

Requirements

Per county

  • A minimum of one manager is required per day.
  • A maximum of two managers is permitted per day.
  • County Managers must be submitted on the ORS for safeguarding requirements.
  • County Managers must be fully Garda vetted with Community Games.
  • County Secretaries must share the County Managers' contact information with the parents of participants.
  • At least one County Manager must remain until all participants from their county have finished.
  • Important: If a county has only one County Manager, that manager cannot be the parent of a participant.

Each County Manager will receive

  • Free entry ticket: This will be emailed to each County Manager registered for the event on the ORS.
  • Wristband and bib at check-in: These entitle the County Manager to free food and refreshments.

Duties at the event

  • Check in at the Events Office each day with identification to receive a wristband and bib.
  • Check out at the Events Office each day by returning the bib and wristband.
  • Sign off on appeals.
  • Act as the point of contact for support and guidance for participants from their county on the day.
  • Gather social media content highlighting area and county achievements, and post it to social media platforms while tagging @CairnCommunityGames.
