Who We Are
Established in 1967 Community Games remains dedicated to promoting inclusivity, participation, camaraderie, and healthy competition for children in sports and artistic events. We are volunteer-led by a Board of 10 Trustees and 11 staff.
As a National Governing Body we provide opportunities for children aged from 6 to 16 to take part in over 40 different events from Art to Swimming. We are supported by Sport Ireland and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media.
Our ethos of volunteer empowerment distinguishes us, as dedicated individuals from diverse communities all over Ireland invest their time and expertise to drive the success of our mission. We actively provide training and resources to ensure our volunteers are equipped with the skills and support needed to make a meaningful impact.
